Program for: All
Purpose: The Visual Arts Projects program provides grants up to $10,000 to assist organizations, collectives, or independent curators to present projects that exhibit, document or disseminate the work of professional Ontario visual artists, or provide professional development opportunities for artists.
Please note that this program does not support the creation/production of works of visual art. Please see the Visual Artists program.
Eligibility: The program is open to not-for-profit, Ontario-based organizations, collectives of visual artists or arts professionals, and individual curators. Organizations receiving operating support from the visual arts office are not eligible. Eligible projects include exhibitions, visual arts festivals, catalogues, publications, lectures, workshops, etc. Projects must pay fees to professional artists.
NEW: Media arts projects must now apply to the Media Arts Projects program. Projects that include both visual arts and media arts should contact the program officer to determine the most appropriate program.
Deadline Dates: June 15 and December 15, 2011 Grant notification letters will be mailed out four months after the application deadline.
