Writers' Works in Progress

Program for: Individuals

Purpose: To assist professional writers to complete book-length works of literary merit.

Eligibility: Ontario-based professional writers may apply for support for the continuation of new work in poetry or prose, including graphic novels.

NEW: Joint applications from a writer and illustrator working on a graphic project are now eligible to apply to this program. Please see the program guidelines below for more detail.

Deadline Dates:  February 15, June 15 and October 15, 2012
Grant notification letters will be mailed out four months after the application deadline.
