Welcome to the second year of spOtlight, a free weekend festival taking place in Cambridge, Guelph, Kitchener, Stratford and Waterloo.
With 135 activities, this year’s spOtlight has something for everyone. Take part in hands-on workshops, behind-the-scenes tours, artist encounters and family activities. More than 200 local artists will be representing the full spectrum of artistic expression from craft, dance, literature and media arts to music, performing arts, theatre and visual arts. Fourteen hub locations and dozens of other venues will be abuzz with artistic activity.
The spOtlight pilot project celebrates the artists who enrich our lives and make our cities vibrant places to live. Most of all, spOtlight offers you the chance to witness the creative process and participate in the arts. Please join us for a weekend of creative discovery.
