Program for: Individuals
Purpose: To provide project grants to allow professional artists from all artistic expressions and cultures to provide in-depth learning experiences for Ontario educators and learners. Successful applicants are placed on a roster for a one-year term. The roster may be used by Ontario educational institutions when planning their arts education programs.
Eligibility: This program is open to professional artists from all artistic expressions and cultures interested in working with Ontario educators and learners on projects taking place in Ontario educational institutions. Projects may involve any educational institution recognized by the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training from Junior Kindergarten to grade 12.
Note: The OAC has subsidized the artist’s fees by approximately 85%. Provincially-funded and private schools are required to make a contribution of a minimum of $6 per hour. Artists may require additional materials. Schools are required to cover material costs and other like expenses.
Deadline Date: January 17, 2011
If you are applying to the January 17, 2011 deadline, the project cannot be completed before September 2011.
