Ontario Arts Council - Newsflash
A Fresh Look for OAC Website!

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new Ontario Arts Council (OAC) website. We have revamped the site to include new sections and features that will help you find information more quickly. Check out the changes at www.arts.on.ca

New Features at a glance

  • Thinking of applying for a grant but you don’t know where to start? The New to OAC? page includes all you need to get started on your search. Learn about types of grants available, what happens after you submit your application, our assessment process, and more.
  • Quick Access to OAC Granting Programs
We organized our granting programs by arts discipline (dance, music, visual arts, etc.) on the homepage to give you direct access to our programs. When you visit these pages, you will find information about programs associated with your discipline of choice, as well as additional links to programs open to artists and arts organizations working in any arts practice. These include programs that support training, professional and career development, organizational capacity-building, residencies, touring and more.
  • Research
Producing and sharing research findings is an important part of OAC’s activities. Browse our Research section for research publications organized by topic, and learn more about Ontario’s arts sector.
  • The Collaborations   section includes a list of OAC-initiated collaborations and special initiatives for artists and arts organizations. Visit this page to learn about current and past projects.
  • We have dedicated a section to Outreach and Development to share information about OAC’s programs, resources and services. Keep visiting this page to see what we are doing to improve outreach, and find out about upcoming information sessions and grant writing workshops.
