About AIR(E)

The Artists in Residence (Education) program is a partnership between school boards or First Nations educational authorities and the Ontario Arts Council. The OAC provides funding to help support the costs of bringing professional community-engaged artists into the schools. School boards bring the expertise of connecting with their schools and communities, knowledge of their school board policies and administrative support to the project.
 

Program 

The Artists in Residence (Education) program is grounded in the belief that to effectively engage all students in creative and critical processes of the arts, an artist and teacher team must commit time to develop, implement and evaluate a project collaboratively.
