Kateri Gauthier, who was previously the Program Administrator for ICF (as well as for OAC’s Indigenous Arts and Multi- and Inter-Arts sections), has been promoted to ICF Outreach Coordinator.
Kateri is Anishinaabekwe who was raised in Niswaakamog (Sudbury) and whose roots are from Wikwemikong. She has more than 10 years of experience in administration and previously held positions with the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres and the Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council. Kateri is a traditional hand drummer, singer, teacher, mentor and song carrier.
Taking over from Kateri as ICF Program Administrator is Véronique Belcourt. Véronique is Métis from the Historic Georgian Bay Métis community, with paternal ties to the Anishinaabe Nation. She has extensive experience as an administrator and has a great interest in promoting and developing Indigenous identity through community-based education.
Rounding out the ICF team are Janine Manning, Manager of the ICF, and Erika Iserhoff, ICF Grants Facilitator.
