2015 Deadline Change for Francophone Applicants to the Ontario Arts Council’s Touring program
The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) has extended the deadline date in 2015 for Francophone applicants to the following touring programs:
- Ontario Touring – deadline extended from February 18 to March 18, 2015
- National and International Touring – deadline extended from February 18 to March 18, 2015
The change accommodates the decisions made by presenters of francophone programming following the showcases at Contact ontarois (Ottawa) and La Bourse RIDEAU (Quebec), which take place in January and February. To qualify for the deadline extension, applications must be submitted in French.
The February 18, 2015 deadline applies to all other applicants.
For 2016, OAC’s new Touring and Audience Development Officer, Noora Sagarwala will be looking at how better to accommodate the different touring schedules in the Anglophone and Francophone arts presenting worlds.
