The Ontario Arts Council (OAC)’s office is located on the 7th floor at 121 Bloor Street East, between Yonge Street and Church Avenue.

Public transit

The closest accessible Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) station is Bloor-Yonge Station, which serves subway lines 1 and 2. Click here for information on the station’s exits and accessibility features.

 

Bike

Bloor Street East has protected bike lanes on both sides of Bloor Street with public bike parking beside the street and in the courtyard past the main entrance.
The OAC strongly recommends the use of a good lock if you choose to cycle to our office.  Please note that neither the OAC nor the building are responsible for lost, stolen or damaged bicycles locked at 121 Bloor East.

 

Driving and parking

There is no on-street parking or building parking available for outside guests. Nearby parking can be found at 2 Bloor Street East, accessed from 9 Asquith Ave, in addition to other options.

Accessible doors & entrances

The OAC office is equipped with automatic door openers on all publicly accessible entrances and washrooms.

 

OAC washrooms

  • There is one all-gender accessible washroom.
  • There is one male and one female washroom. Each has one accessible stall.
  • There are grab bars in the all-gender washroom and in the accessible stalls.

 

Minimum door widths

  • Main entrance and publicly accessible meeting rooms: 34.5 in (87.63 cm)
  • All-gender washroom: 36.5 in (92.71 cm)
  • Gendered washrooms: 30.5 in (77.47 cm)

 

Meeting equipment

The OAC has a limited number of sit/stand desks available for meeting participants, available upon request. If there are more requests than available desks, OAC will prioritize requests based on need to the best of its ability.
