Changes to Granting Programs in Community and Multidisciplinary Arts, Literature and Music

December 12, 2014

Community and Multidisciplinary Arts

In 2015, two new groupings will replace Community and Multidisciplinary Arts. Community-Engaged Arts and Multi and Inter-Arts will more accurately reflect the activities they support.

The Artists in the Community/Workplace program along with the newly named Community-Engaged Arts Organizations (formerly Community and Multidisciplinary Arts Organizations) program will be offered under the heading Community-Engaged Arts.

The Multi and Inter-Arts Organizations program along with the Multi and Inter-Arts Projects (formerly Multi and Integrated Arts) will be under Multi and Inter-Arts.

The Community Arts Councils program is now a stand-alone program. Updated program details will be available on OAC’s website in early 2015.

Community Engaged Arts

  • Artists in the Community/Workplace: March 3 and October 1, 2015

The former Periodicals program has been renamed Magazines – Operating and a new project program has been added and named Magazines – Projects.

Music

The operating and project programs under Choirs and Vocal Groups have been renamed. Applications for operating funding will be accepted through the Choral Organizations  program, and project grant applications should be submitted to Choirs & Singing Groups. There are no changes to the program guidelines, and the deadline for both programs is still February 18, 2015
