Upcoming changes to applicants' artistic examples in Nova

The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) is facing a storage squeeze in Nova, our online granting system. We are therefore looking for some administrative savings by reducing the volume of materials from past applications stored within the system.

• As early as Thursday, August 22, we will begin the process of removing artistic examples – specifically, original audio files, video files and digital images – that were submitted as part of past applications (i.e. applications for which applicants have already been notified of the result).
• Going forward, any original audio files, video files and digital images uploaded as part of an OAC application will be maintained in Nova only until they are no longer required for OAC’s application processing.
• Applicants can export submitted applications, including small thumbnails of their artistic examples, as a PDF for their records.
• Please do not use Nova to store audio files, video files and digital images.
