OAC Strategic Planning Survey – Please share your thoughts

The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) is developing a new strategic plan that will guide our work over the next five years. An important step in our consultations is to gather information from the arts community through a survey,. We hope that you will share your thoughts and experiences with us. It will take about 10 minutes to complete, and we appreciate your time. We will welcome survey responses until midnight Eastern Daylight Time (23:59:59 EDT) on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

Please help us reach beyond Ontario artists and arts organizations already familiar with the Ontario Arts Council by forwarding this message to other artists and arts workers in Ontario who you think would want to contribute their thoughts and perspectives on the arts sector, whether or not they are familiar with OAC.

More about the survey

• The survey includes questions about the opportunities and challenges currently facing Ontario artists and arts organizations, as well as a few questions about the OAC granting process.
• We will use survey responses to inform the development of our new strategic plan, which will be launched next winter.
• Strategic plans guide organizations in fulfilling their mandates by creating goals and crafting strategies to achieve those goals. The OAC is committed to including a broad range of perspectives in the process so we can be confident that our plan best meets the needs of the Ontario arts community and reflects our current realities.
