Departure of Kelly Langgard

November 24, 2022

Congratulations to Kelly Langgard, Director of Granting, who has announced her departure from OAC to become the next Director & CEO of the Toronto Arts Council and Toronto Arts Foundation.

Kelly Langgard

Since March of 2020, Kelly and OAC’s granting team achieved significant goals in support of the arts community. These included developing and delivering the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport’s $24 million Arts Recovery Support Fund launched in March 2021, as well as the one-time $4 million Indigenous Arts Support fund launched in November 2021.

"Kelly has a unique ability to lead. Her insight, vision, and collaboration in the provincial arts sector will be greatly missed, and we congratulate Kelly on her appointment to an important arts council and one of OAC’s key partners.” said Michael Murray, CEO. “We are fortunate that OAC’s fantastic arts program professionals will continue to lead the province’s investment in the arts as we search for the next leader of OAC granting programs.”

Kelly’s last day at OAC will be December 23, 2022. The community will hear from Kelly at the Launch of OAC’s 2022-27 Strategic Plan on December 7, 2022 and OAC will announce next steps in its Director of Granting search in the coming weeks.
