Volunteers and Donors in Arts and Culture Organizations in Canada in 2010

This report highlights the volunteer time and financial donations given to Canadian arts and culture organizations. This includes analysis of the number of arts and culture volunteers, volunteer hours, volunteer positions/activities/skills gained, reasons for and barriers to volunteering, number of arts and culture donors, value of donations, donor motivations, the demographics of arts and culture volunteers and donors, and comparisons with other types of not-for-profit organizations, as well as trends over time. Some provincial data is provided, including key statistics for Ontario arts and culture volunteers and donors.
