Growing and Documenting Your AIR(E) Program

Documenting Your Project

Documentation for your AIR(E) project is required. Determine how projects will be documented and shared. Be sure to share your images and documentation with the OAC. Consult the sample Report Form for help in the annual reporting to the OAC.

Growth & Further Resources

What if more schools want a program than there is money?
  • celebrate your success!
  • advocate at board for additional funding
  • find alignment of AIR(E) with other policy areas
  • seek community support
  • encourage non-participating schools to apply for grants including OAC’s Artists in Communities and Schools Project grant
  • consider introducing contributions of schools to budget costs like supplies to extend the funds
  • does your school board or educational authority have a foundation?

Consider who in the community may be able to become a financial partner now and/or in the future—start building relationships.
  • make connections with local businesses—for materials, equipment needs, sponsorship
  • community arts organizations may be able to provide use of space (e.g. for an end of program exhibition/performance)
  • consult other AIR(E) partners
  • if you are serving French immersion schools you may want to try to create a relationship with local French arts organizations
