The Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Family Foundation (SSBFF) and the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) came together in their mutual concern about the long-term nurturing and sustainability of a healthy and dynamic arts and culture sector. Both the SSBFF and the OAC share the belief that arts organizations and artists must identify the processes, changes and arguments that will be needed to integrate the public more fully in their operations, and encourage wider public participation. In other words, both capacity building and community involvement are crucial elements in achieving this goal.
