Logos and Recognition

Grant recipients play an important role in demonstrating the impact of public arts funding through OAC to our community leaders including elected officials. In June 2023, OAC introduced new requirements for grant recipients to recognize OAC support. When you receive your grant, please review the instructions for your OAC recognition requirements in the links below. (If you received a project grant before March 31, 2023, please refer to the previous recognition policy.) 


Recognition Requirements for Operating Grant Recipients

Organizations that receive an OAC operating grant must follow these recognition requirements as agreed to in the terms and conditions when filling out an application.

Logos

The OAC logo must be used alongside the Government of Ontario logo to recognize OAC funding. Download the logos and review logo usage guidelines.

For more than 60 years, the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) has played a vital role in promoting and assisting the development of the arts for the enjoyment and benefit of Ontarians. The OAC reached 27.4 million people through events and arts education activities across the province in 2021-22. In 2023-24, OAC invested its grant program budget of $53.3 million in 219 communities across all 124 Ontario ridings, providing 2,149 grants to individual artists and 1,043 grants to organizations.
