A new year of opportunity awaits! Ontario Arts Council releases program deadlines for 2024
The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) is pleased to announce that the application deadlines for 2024 have been published online. Consult the list of program deadlines and important dates to see what funding opportunities are coming up in the year ahead.
The application form for each program is generally available in Nova, OAC’s online grant application system, two months before the deadline to apply. Be sure to submit your application no later than 1 p.m. ET on the deadline day!

If you are applying for OAC funding for the first time, or need a refresher, here are some tips on how to get started:
- Check out the New to OAC? web page, which has an overview of funding opportunities we offer, plus a step-by-step summary on how to apply.
- Once you have read over the New to OAC? page, especially Step 1: Find the right program for your project, read the web page for the program to which you wish to apply, to make sure your proposed project is eligible.
- Read the Guide to OAC Project Programs to learn basic rules about applying for OAC funding, such as how many times you can apply each year.
- To access application forms, create an account in Nova, OAC’s online application system.
