Geneviève Trilling named new Francophone Arts Officer

February 25, 2020

Geneviève Trilling

Geneviève Trilling has been named the Ontario Arts Council (OAC)’s new Francophone Arts Officer as of February 18, 2020. Geneviève was the Associate Francophone Arts Officer for nearly four years. She steps into the role previously held by Clelia Farrugia, who is now the Theatre Officer at OAC.

“I am delighted to make this announcement,” said Carolyn Vesely, CEO. “Geneviève brings extensive knowledge of the province’s Francophone arts sector, not only because of her work at OAC but through her previous roles in arts education, media arts and in Francophone theatre in Toronto.”

Francophone artists and arts organizations may apply in French to all OAC programs, with the exception of English-language programs in Theatre and Literature. Francophone applicants can also contact Nina Charest, Program Administrator, about OAC’s dedicated French-language programs.
